showreel 2009

The radio station 96.5 approached InVision Media looking for a concept for their Community Service Announcements. The question: What is the best way to market a family friendly station? The answer: Put 60 kids in front of the camera and see what happens. Filming in a studio environment helped to keep the costs down and enabled the crew to keep control while filming 60 children in one day. The director and editor worked their way through hours of raw footage to cut together four thirty second CSAs, each with a different focus. InVision created a 3D model of a retro style radio as a way of representing a contemporary radio station with classic, old-style family values. This was added to the scene to interact with the children and music was composed to add the finishing touch because - letís face it - whatís a radio station without music?
